About

The Scott and Robyn Show

About Us

Scott O’Çlock has been making people laugh for over 20 years with jokes, stories and one liners. He has tried and tested them with a captive audience. He has been developing ideas for TV shows then he has been working on ideas consistently since workshopping with Tim Fergusson.

Robyn Pfitzner has been writing for work with a BA in Communications, Public Relations and Media she found writing for a movie a highly liberating way to play with words. Together they started the Scott and Robyn Show as a joke. But when they were on a road trip to Kosciuszko, the stories started flowing so Robyn started writing them down. Several stories emerged on that fateful trip, but the one that started telling itself and almost wrote itself in 4 months, started when they crossed a bridge with a pile of clothes on it. And Once Upon A Time In Australia was born.

Since then Scott and Robyn have filmed a concept trailer for Once Upon a Time In Australia, and have got treatments and written scripts for other movies and tv series .

About Me

Once Upon a Time…

Welcome to The Writers Formerly Known As…, fun, friendship, and banter, where no idea is a silly idea, but with exploration, who knows what will happen, or what gets said. Robyn and I were on a road trip to Mt Kosciusko. The views were amazing, the banter was next level, the jokes were flying. Not long into the trip, after saying for years that my stories should be written down, Robyn decided to start writing things down so we wouldn’t forget them.

On the drive home through one of our unintended detours, I saw a pile of clothes on a bridge and said to Robyn, “Did you see that pile of clothes on the bridge?” She quipped, “How did they get there?” And a whole whole vista appeared in my mind, and started unfold in front of us. I immediately started telling a story, outlining characters and motivations, and Robyn grabbed her iPad, and started typing as fast as I could talk. When Robyn got back to Queanbeyan, she took a closer look at her notes. When I returned to Byron Bay, she sent them to me, saying “I think we’ve got something here.” I was gobsmacked to hear my story in my voice coming back at me. The ideas kept flowing, so we kept writing, and following the ideas, and this is what we created. So the two of us wrote a movie, mostly via text and middle of the night phone calls after I’d finished my shift in the bakery, when we would throw around ideas, often til the break of dawn. And during the day Robyn would flesh them out. In about four months, we finished the story, just in time to enter it into our first competition. Whó does that sort of thing? Well we do, because if you don’t then who’s going to do it for you… Just say yes…..
